Wessfed is the Wessex Federation of Diving Clubs.  Wessfed is a forum for local diving clubs (any affiliation, not just BS-AC) to meet and put forward their own particular ways of doing things such as fundraising, attracting/keeping members and running club events – for the communal good of the other Wessfed member clubs. Wessfed also has ties into local council proceedings and so is a conduit for info of relevance to the club such as proposed pool closures or increases in diving club insurance requirements.

 

Our wessfed rep  attends Wessfed meetings to represent CS-AC and keeps members informed of Wessfed activities by reporting back into the committee on items relevant/of interest to the club. The Wessfed minutes are posted on the club noticeboard.

Wessfed also organise a number of training courses and interest lectures throughout the year.
